Outlander Season 6 is not coming to Netflix in May 2023

It has been almost a year since Outlander Season 6 ended on STARZ. Does that mean it’s coming to Netflix yet? Here’s what we know.

Netflix in the United States still does not have Outlander Season 6. Yes, it is on the streamer in other parts of the world. This is the way Netflix works. Different locations get the show at different times, but this is all about the U.S. release.

We start this post with bad news. Outlander Season 6 is not going to be on Netflix in the United States this coming month. That’s not too surprising considering the way STARZ and Netflix has worked with this series.

When will Outlander Season 6 come to Netflix?

It’s only been a year since Season 6 ended on STARZ. The finale aired on May 1, 2022. That means we’re likely waiting another year for the series to head to Netflix. Yes, we’re still expecting the full season to arrive on the streamer on May 1, 2024.

This is the way previous seasons have worked. After the first two seasons initially, we got each season two years after the finales aired on STARZ. This helps to keep seasons exclusive to STARZ for some time. After all, it is a STARZ series!

What’s going to be more interesting is how Outlander Season 7 is going to work. The season is going to be split in two. It’s not all that clear if we’ll get the first eight episodes two years after the midseason finale or if we’ll have to wait two years from the Season 7 finale, meaning sometime in 2026 for it!
