Outlander: Blood of My Blood is not coming to STARZ in April 2023
The Outlander prequel is happening, but there’s a wait for it. We don’t get to watch it this month. When will Outlander: Blood of My Blood come to STARZ?
While we wait for Outlander Season 7, we would love nothing more than something else in the franchise to keep us entertained. That’s not going to happen this time, though. We’re still waiting for the prequel series that has been officially confirmed.
Outlander: Blood of My Blood will tell the story of Jamie’s parents, Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser. It’s about how they met and fell in love, a story that we’ve heard through Jamie, Murtagh, and a few others before, but not one we’ve seen with our own two eyes.
When will Outlander: Blood of My Blood come to STARZ?
While the series has been greenlit, there are no signs that it will arrive any time soon. There aren’t even signs that Matt B. Roberts and co. are even working on it just yet. After all, Outlander is the main priority right now.
Outlander Season 7A will premiere in June 2023. The season is split in two, with post-production happening on the second half of the season right now. The second half of the season will arrive in 2024. Production of Outlander Season 8 could start soon, although nobody has spoken out about that.
We could see work on the final season of Outlander start in conjunction with work on Blood of My Blood. Or we could see Blood of My Blood production start first to help ease the final Droughtlander. STARZ hasn’t been open about any plans for the show. We’re still waiting for Men in Kilts Season 2, so why would we know anything about the prequel series just yet?
Stay tuned for the latest updates on Outlander: Blood of My Blood and more.
