We knew Outlander Season 7 would premiere in the summer of 2023, and now we have the exact premiere dates. It’s time for a summer of love and drama.
Here we are! We finally know when Droughtlander will come to an end, and it’s not as late as we speculated earlier this week. No, we don’t need to wait until September. Instead, we only have to wait until June.
What’s even better is that the premiere is a little earlier than we thought. We’re getting it before the Summer Solstice, a big date in the world of Outlander. There will be some bad news for those hoping for 16 episodes in one run. The season will be split in two, as I suspected it would be.
When will Outlander Season 7, Part 1 premiere on STARZ?
STARZ has set the date for Friday, June 16. Yes, that’s a Friday!
The episode will be available from midnight ET. So, you can still join in with the midnight club, but it’s going to kick off the weekend instead of ending it. Episodes will air Fridays throughout the summer. This is not a one-off change like we had for Season 5 to premiere on Valentine’s Day.
Episodes will still air on the STARZ channel at 8 p.m. on Friday nights.
The network is changing in Canada. The show used to air on W Network, but it will change to STARZ as of this season. It will be on LIONSGATE+ internationally.
Will Outlander Season 7 be split in two?
Yes, the season is going to be split in two parts. Outlander Season7B will air sometime in 2024. This isn’t that surprising since STARZ will have wanted to keep the wait for the first half of the season to a minimum but getting through 16 episodes in post-production takes a long time.
It also helps to keep the next Droughtlander short. It’s more like the first season, which saw Jamie hanging out in a window for six months.
