What is Love Again starring Sam Heughan about?
Love Again is heading to theaters in May and it will star Sam Heughan. What is this rom-com about, and will it be worth the watch during Droughtlander?
There are a few shows to help us get through Droughtlander at the moment. Ed Speleers is in You Season 4, which released the first five episodes earlier this month. Then Carnival Row with Andrew Gower dropped its first two episodes this weekend.
As we get into May, we’ll have something else to watch. This is a little closer to Outlander as it stars Sam Heughan. It’s all about the movie Love Again.
What is Love Again about?
The movie follows a woman (played by Priyanka Chopra Jonas) who texts her late boyfriend’s old number. What she doesn’t realize is that the number has been reassigned, and it happens to be Sam Heughan’s Rob Burns who now has the number. He keeps getting these messages, but he doesn’t respond.
He does manage to arrange a date with her, though. As he starts to fall for her, he realizes that he needs to tell her the truth. There is one person who may be able to help him in all this: Celine Dion. Oh yes, the iconic French-Canadian singer is in this movie.

If you think you’ve heard this plotline before, you have. This movie has gone through two title changes and a release date change.
At first, it was titled Text for You. Then we learned it was called It’s All Coming Back to Me and that it would be out in time for Valentine’s Day this year. Well, that didn’t happen. Instead, the trailer for the movie, now titled Love Again, dropped on Valentine’s Day making it clear that this movie will be out in time for Mother’s Day.
