Outlander Season 7 is not coming to STARZ in February 2023
Droughtlander continues throughout February 2023. As much as we would love a Valentine’s Day gift, Outlander Season 7 will not premiere on STARZ yet.
Valentine’s Day 2020 delivered us the best gift ever. We got the fifth season premiere of Claire and Jamie’s love story. It makes sense, right? Why not premiere a new season of the epic love story on Valentine’s Day?
We had to wait a little bit longer for the sixth season. That was March 2022, but it was close enough. Would Outlander Season 7 follow something similar? Sadly not.
STARZ will not bring the premiere of the new season in February 2023. We have to wait a little bit longer than we’d hoped for back when we were initially told late 2022/early 2023.
When will Outlander Season 7 premiere on STARZ?
As of right now, we don’t have an exact premiere date for the new season. What we do know is that it will arrive sometime in summer 2023. This could be anywhere between June and September.
I certainly think around the summer solstice would be perfect. I wouldn’t want to wait until the fall equinox. These are both big dates in the world of Outlander and that’s why I’m picking them as standout options for the premiere. I’ll be happy to get the episodes right now if I could!
The seventh season is mostly focused on An Echo in the Bone, the seventh book in the series. There will be some elements of the sixth book included to tie up those storylines after some of Season 6’s episodes were moved to Season 7. We can also tell that some of Written in My Own Heart’s Blood storylines will be included based on casting announcements.
There is still a chance that this season will be split in two, with the second half potentially arriving in 2024. It’s something we’re keeping a close eye on.
