There is still a wait for the Outlander Season 7 premiere, but we have a small light at the end of the Droughtlander tunnel. STARZ has at least confirmed a season.

At the time of writing this, STARZ has not released the teaser on any of its official channels. However, this isn’t the first time the correct trailer has been revealed only for it to disappear from the official channels rather quickly.

There is a teaser trailer out, and it gives us a season for Outlander Season 7 to premiere. It’s later than we’d like, but at least we have an idea as to when to expect the episodes.

Update: STARZ has since released the teaser trailer:

When is Outlander Season 7 going to premiere on STARZ?

There isn’t an exact date just yet. What we do know is that Outlander Season 7 will premiere sometime in summer 2023.

This is later than the late 2022/early 2023 that Maril Davis shared last year when it came to the premiere. Of course, she wouldn’t have known what STARZ’s plans were for the show at that point. There are a lot of shows to fit into the schedule, including another season of a Power spinoff and Hightown.

We don’t know if the season will be split in two parts. It’s highly likely, with the second half of the season potentially coming out at the end of 2023. We could even see the second set of episodes arrive in early 2024 to help keep the feeling of Droughtlander to a minimum. This is all going to depend on the post-production stage.

We know post-production can take months. With Season 7 filming slated to end in February or March of next year, there may not be enough time to get through all the episodes by the summer.

For now we have the teaser, at least. It looks like some major book storylines are happening.
