Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter
I don’t see too much in the way of foreshadowing in this chapter. It’s more about plot development. Ian is worried about Rachel for good reason. Arch is out there, and we know that he is after Rachel. He knows where Ian’s heart lies.
What is clear is that Arch doesn’t have long left in the world. Ian won’t let it stand once he learns what Arch did.
Adapting An Echo in the Bone chapter
I do hope to see this chapter. I want to see Ian and Rollo searching for Rachel. However, I don’t think there’s really all that much need for it in Outlander Season 7. Do we really need to see Ian? He could talk to Rollo to sound his fears out, but I’m not sure if there’s going to be time for it.
What I want to see is how pragmatic Ian is. He doesn’t spend too long in this chapter focusing on his fears for Rachel. He’s focused on finding her, and that’s all that matters. He’s a very straightforward man, and I love that we get to see that personality shine through.
