Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

This chapter continues to foreshadow that William will realize that he is Jamie’s son, and it’s all going to happen through looks. Everyone else is noticing this, and it’s only a matter of time. Jamie even notes that he’s avoided William twice now, but there is going to be a time his luck runs out.

I think the fog is very apt throughout this book. William is constantly surrounded by it, and I’m sure it’s there to connect to William not realizing the truth of his parentage just yet.

Adapting An Echo in the Bone chapter

I want to see this chapter adapted. Part of it is so we see Jamie and Simon Fraser converse. I also want to see other people realize that Jamie and William look so alike. I want to have these near misses so throughout the series we can say “when will it happen?” After all, it’s clear how William is going to learn the truth.

Something else I want to see is Claire meet Daniel Rawlings’s brother. Daniel’s equipment has been so important to Claire, and she’s used the name Rawlings to help her in her medical work. In the TV series, it’s also been the reason she was taken by Lionel Brown and his men. So, I want to see this continue, as well as to have another doctor to talk to.
