Outlander Season 6 is not coming to Netflix in October 2022
There is no doubt that rewatching Outlander helps us through Droughtlander. When will Outlander Season 6 be on Netflix in the U.S.?
While we would love for Droughtlander to be over, we realistically know that’s not going to be the case for some time. Instead, we need to find ways to get through the drought, and that often means rewatching Outlander.
Not everyone wants to keep the STARZ subscription going after watching a new season. The good news is that isn’t an issue for previous seasons. They’re on Netflix. Now we’re waiting for Outlander Season 6 to come to Netflix, but that wait is going to be a long one.
When will Outlander Season 6 come to Netflix in the U.S.?
We double-checked the list of releases just in case, but Outlander Season 6 definitely wasn’t on there. We’re not expecting it for some time, though.
Based on previous releases, we’re looking at Outlander Season 6 to come to Netflix in May 2024. May 1, to be exact. That’s two years after the season finale aired on STARZ.
As much as we hate it, it does make sense to have this delay. Droughtlander is long and STARZ won’t want to lose subscribers during the break. It’s important to keep at least one season exclusive to STARZ for as long as possible. We still don’t have a premiere date for Season 7, although we’re looking at sometime in 2023 for that so two seasons should be exclusive to the platform for streaming for a period of time.
You don’t need Netflix or STARZ to watch it anymore, though. You can buy all eight episodes of the season on Digital—or you can get the DVD or Blu-ray. You just pay once and you can watch whenever you want. The series is available from all popular digital platforms including Amazon and iTunes.
