Suspect is coming to BritBox this week. It’s a chance to see Sam Heughan in another role. Will the full season be released weekly or as a binge-watch?

We are certainly ready to watch something else to get through Droughtlander. Sam Heughan stars in Suspect, a British crime thriller that drops on BritBox this week. Of course, you’ll want to know if this is a series that comes out weekly or not.

It’s hard to tell with streaming platforms now. Some platforms stick to their traditional binge-watch releases, while others are performing better with weekly releases. What has BritBox decided to do with this British drama?

How is Suspect released on BritBox?

There’s some good news for Sam Heughan fans, especially since he doesn’t appear until the fifth episode of the series. Suspect is coming out as a binge-watch.

This is somewhat unusual for the streamer. A lot of shows are released on a weekly basis, and we were expecting that to happen with this one. However, the full series has already aired in the UK, so BritBox is making it easier for North American fans to catch up on everything.

There are eight episodes in total in the series. Each episode is around 30 minutes long, so it’s not going to take you long to binge-watch the full thing. You’ll find yourself needing the next episode each time because of the way things end.

Of course, for Outlander fans, the question is whether Sam Heughan’s character is the murderer. He plays Ryan, who is a bit of a loose cannon and has a direct connection to James Nesbitt’s Danny and his daughter Christina. Was Ryan the one to kill Danny’s daughter?
