Will we get an Outlander Season 7 trailer at NYCC 2022?
Our eyes are currently on any sort of information about Outlander Season 7. Could we get a trailer for the season at NYCC 2022?
New York Comic-Con has been a great time to get some details about Outlander in previous years. One year, fans got to watch the whole first episode. In other years, we’ve got the first look at a trailer. What about NYCC 2022?
Is it possible that we’ll get a trailer for Outlander Season 7? Will this be a time to give us any sort of information about the new season? Let’s take a look at the chances of that happening.
Outlander Season 7 doesn’t have a panel at NYCC 2022
We have some bad news to start off the answer. There isn’t currently a planned panel for Outlander Season 7 at NYCC 2022. This doesn’t mean there definitely won’t be a panel, but there isn’t one in place right now.
We know that Sam Heughan, David Berry, Duncan Lacroix, and Diana Gabaldon are going to be at the event. They’re not there for a panel just yet, but there could be one set up in time for the weekend. Other members of the cast would likely need to appear virtually for it. This has worked in the past, and there’s no reason why it couldn’t work now.
If there is a panel, then we can expect something big. A trailer for Outlander Season 7 could happen, but it really depends on how much of the first couple of episodes have been through post-production to cut into a trailer. The season is still filming, and is set to film until February or March 2023, so there may not be enough for a full trailer.
Instead, we could get some sort of sneak peek. This is something that happened at the end of Season 3. Because filming for Season 4 was underway at this point, STARZ released the opening scene of Season 4 at the very end of the Season 3 finale. It was a great treat, and we’d be more than happy to see something like that soon.
