Outlander Season 7 is all we’re keeping an eye on right now. Could we get a premiere date for the season at New York Comic-Con 2022?
NYCC 2022 is just around the corner. We still don’t know if Outlander will have a panel at the event. We surely should have heard something by now, but we’re still holding out hope something can happen. With the season still filming, it is possible that not everyone will be able to make it for a real panel.
Sure, we have Sam Heughan attending NYCC 2022, but he may not be needed for filming around that time. There are a lot of other characters in the series, which could mean filming being focused on Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin, Cesar Domboy and Lauren Lyle, or even John Bell or Caitriona Balfe.
What are the chances of getting some sort of Outlander Season 7 update during the big weekend?
Is Outlander Season 7 getting a panel at NYCC 2022?
If there is a panel for the season, we will likely get some big news. A premiere date makes a lot of sense if this is the case.
We are still looking at early 2023 as a premiere date for the season. This would mean the season would be split in two parts, matching the way the first season was released. It makes sense for a 16-episode season, splitting it into eight episodes with a shorter Droughtlander period between seasons and half-seasons.
NYCC 2022 is the best place to announce a premiere date. It would likely come with a trailer for the season.
If there isn’t a panel, we’re not looking at a premiere date to happen. Instead, we’re looking at STARZ to make a big deal at another point of the year. So far, STARZ has skipped over some big Outlander dates, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get news sometime soon.
