Men in Kilts Season 2 is not coming to STARZ in July 2022

We are more than ready to see Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish on their New Zealand road trip. When will Men in Kilts Season 2 premiere on STARZ?

Droughtlander is a chance to check out other shows to fill the void. One that came about in 2021 was Men in Kilts. This was hyped up a lot with the podcast-turned-book Clandlands, which would involve Graham McTavish and Sam Heughan head out on a road trip across Scotland.

Now there’s a second season coming. The bad news is Men in Kilts Season 2 won’t fill the Droughtlander void just yet. We’ll need to wait just a little bit longer for it. Yes, we double-checked the list of releases just in case even though without a confirmed premiere date or trailer already we didn’t expect to see it there.

Men in Kilts Season 2 release date predictions

We can’t say for sure when Men in Kilts Season 2 will arrive. Filming has finished. The duo headed to New Zealand to get all the footage they would need for the six-episode season. There has apparently been some filming in Scotland since, but the New Zealand leg is done and the editing process is happening.

Editing a show like this won’t take as long as a show like Outlander. That doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy, though.

We hope to see Men in Kilts Season 2 sometime this year. It is possible. We could see it sometime in the fall. This would help to break up Droughtlander a little easier with the show if the suggestion of early 2023 for Outlander Season 7 remains correct—this will depend on whether the show is split into two halves this season or not.
