Will Fergus return in Outlander Season 7?
Outlander Season 6 was a dark season for Fergus Fraser. He seems to be on the other side. Will we see him back in Outlander Season 7?
When we saw the promo for Outlander Season 6, one thing was clear. Fergus was going to get his darkest story to date. Everything had built up to this point, and it led to Fergus almost taking his own life.
Had Jamie not been there to stop him, it would have happened. Marsali would have been left a widow with four children, and everyone would have been devastated. Fortunately, that’s not how it all played out. And we got to hear that Fergus and Marsali were heading to New Bern where Fergus could open up his own print shop.
Will Fergus be back in Outlander Season 7?
With Fergus in New Bern, does that mean we won’t get to see him in the seventh season? Will it be a case of just finding out what he’s up to through letters or via brief conversations? While that would be one way of handling the situation, I wouldn’t rule out Fergus returning.
There is no sign right now that Cesar Domboy isn’t going to be part of Outlander Season 7. Of course, we don’t yet have confirmation that he will, but there are no signs that he’s going anywhere. There wasn’t a big goodbye post on social media to indicate that he was leaving for good.
There are ways to bring Fergus back into it. In the books, he does remain part of the story. We check in with him and his family now and then, first in New Bern and then in other parts of the country they head to. This is how things could play out in the show.
In the books, Fergus has to leave New Bern for Philadelphia. It is possible the series could follow that, or we could see things cut short a little. Instead of moving to Philadelphia, it’s possible the show could have the fire at the Philadelphia print shop happen in New Bern instead. Then that would bring the family straight back to Wilmington.
