10 best Jamie moments in Outlander Season 6
3. His apology to Claire after the accusation
Claire and Jamie have been through a rocky journey at times. Nothing hit quite as hard as hearing Malva say that her baby was Jamie’s. Claire knew need down that it wasn’t true, but there was that fever dream she had.
During Outlander Season 6, Episode 6, Jamie does apologize for an affair. It wasn’t with Malva, though. He uses this chance to bring up Mary MacNab. This helps to ease some of the tension for Claire. She doesn’t view that as an affair, but it’s clear that Jamie has felt some guilt for it for a long time.
2. Bringing Fergus back from the brink
Fergus also went through a difficult time in Outlander Season 6. It all built up to him almost killing himself. He thought that would be much better for Marsali and his children.
Jamie came across Fergus alone in the woods. It was Jamie who helped to get through to Fergus in a way nobody else could. Sure, Fergus can’t do everything that abled-bodied men can do, but that doesn’t make him worthless. There is a lot of good that Fergus has done. It’s because of Fergus that Jamie is alive. There’s no way Jamie is going to let something happen to his son.
1. Sharing about Faith
When Young Ian shares his story while at the Cherokee village, Jamie doesn’t say much. He listens, and I love this. There’s no need to make it about Jamie’s past at this point.
The only time Jamie does bring up his own experiences is when it’s clear Young Ian wants advice. That brings up Faith and how Jamie and Young Ian’s stories are very similar. This is something Young Ian has never heard, but Jamie knows it’s necessary to help Young Ian move forward. We also get that reminder that Jamie wishes he could have done something different to have at least held Faith.
