It’s Sunday, and we all know what that means. It’s time for a new episode of Outlander. Many people still stick to the airing on the STARZ channel, and you’re likely getting things ready today to be able to watch a new episode.
There is some bad news, though. There isn’t going to be a new episode of Outlander on STARZ tonight. When looking at the schedule for the night, there’s going to be a rerun of the new episode of Gaslit at 9 p.m. ET/PT instead.
Why isn’t a new episode of Outlander on tonight?
What is with the lack of new episode? This is all because the previous episode was the Season 6 finale. There are no more episodes left.
We are now officially in Droughtlander. This is going to be difficult for many, and it could be the first time for some fans who only just recently caught the first episodes on Netflix and then turned to STARZ for the more recent seasons.
When will new episodes of Outlander return?
There is a little bit of good news. Season 7 is happening, but we just don’t have a return date yet. That’s not surprising since the season is only just in production.
We have had some casting news for the series, though. The show has found its Adult William, and we’re very excited about that. We can’t wait to see the tension between Jamie and William as they fight on the opposite sides of the coming war. Of course, before that happens, Jamie needs to save Claire from her current predicament.
The season is likely to come out in 2023, and there is a chance that the season will be split in two to help keep Droughtlander to a minimum.
