Is a new episode of Outlander dropping on the STARZ App tonight?
It’s Saturday night, and that means Outlander fans are gearing up for Outlander at Midnight. What’s going on with the STARZ App tonight?
We’re so used to Outlander at Midnight on a Saturday night. There is a little bit of bad news right now. Actually, there’s going to be a lot of bad news.
There isn’t going to be a new episode dropping on the STARZ App tonight. I know Easter weekend despite warning you of no episode there were a lot of people questioning where it is. I’m sure that’s going to happen again as it becomes habit looking for a new episode each Sunday. However, there definitely won’t be a new episode.
The good news with the app is that you can go back through all previous episodes. Go right back to the start of the series if you want.
Why isn’t there a new episode of Outlander this week?
We are back into Droughtlander. I know, it only feels like we just got out of Droughtlander. Outlander Season 6 was only eight episodes long, which does mean Droughtlander has arrived much sooner than normal.
We have a long-ish Droughtlander ahead of us. Some bad news is that we don’t know when the seventh season will premiere. However, the season is in production, and we know that the show has found its Adult William. There is a light at the end of the tunnel that is not a speeding training coming toward us.
STARZ was initially planning a late 2022/early 2023 release date. This could still be possible. While Outlander Season 7 is 16 episodes long, there’s a chance that it will be split in two parts to help keep Droughtlander to a minimum. We’ll just have to wait and see at this point for STARZ’s decision on the release.
