What time is Outlander Season 5 coming to Netflix?
We know Outlander Season 5 is coming to Netflix U.S. next week. What time can you start streaming all the episodes from the season?
After two very long years, we finally got some good news about Outlander Season 5 on Netflix. It’s going to drop in full on Tuesday, May 10. This was the date we predicted, even if we weren’t happy that we’d have to wait so long.
Of course, the fifth season has been available to stream on STARZ this whole time. It’s remained exclusive to that streaming platform until next week, following a pattern we’ve seen for the last couple of seasons since STARZ and Netflix came to a streaming deal.
Those who haven’t seen it yet will want to know exactly when they can start watching it. Those who have will still want to relive all the episodes. When are the 12 episodes going to be available?
Outlander Season 5 on Netflix release time
The episodes will be available at 3:01 a.m. ET on Tuesday, May 10. That means those on the west coast will be able to watch it at 12:01 a.m. This is disappointing for those on the east coast who are used to watching at midnight on STARZ. Netflix holds off until the west coast reaches midnight.
At least all 12 episodes are going to drop at once. This does mean you’ll get to binge-watch the season, which wasn’t an option when the episodes were initially released. STARZ has always opted for the weekly release format, and that’s probably not changing.
The fifth season is a big one. The Revolutionary War gets closer, but first, Jamie needs to remain on the side of the Crown and deal with the Battle of Alamance. That was always going to lead to trouble, but it’s even harder when Jamie’s godfather Murtagh is on the side of the rebellion.
