Outlander Season 6 finale live ratings: A mixed end
The live ratings for Outlander Season 6 have been up and down. May 1 marked the final episode of the season. How were the Outlander Season 6 finale live ratings?
There is no doubt that we had hoped to see some great live ratings for Outlander Season 6. That wasn’t the case in the end. The premiere episode immediately brought a drop from the previous season, and things have been mixed throughout the rest of the season.
Of course, the live ratings don’t mean everything for STARZ. These numbers only include those who watch on the channel during the first airing of the episode. If you watch via the app, your views aren’t included here. They are important to STARZ as a whole, though.
That doesn’t stop us from using the live ratings to get a sense of what fans think of the series. Here’s a look inside the Outlander Season 6 finale live ratings.
Outlander Season 6 finale live ratings
The live ratings for the final episode were mixed, according to TV Series Finale. The demo was up by 100% from the previous episode, taking things up to 0.04. However, the live audience numbers were down by almost 6% from the previous episode, finishing the season with 0.441 million viewers.
We now also get the average ratings for the entire season. They are down from the average ratings of Season 5, but that’s not surprising considering how things started with the premiere. This doesn’t mean that the viewership dropped. There’s a good chance that fans have turned directly to the STARZ App instead of waiting for episodes to air on the channel.
The overall demo dropped by 65%, while the overall audience dropped by 35% compared to Season 5. If this was a broadcast series, we’d be worried. But it’s a STARZ show, so we’re not. Plus, we already know that Outlander Season 7 is happening.
