Things weren’t great for Claire in the Outlander Season 6 finale. That didn’t stop her from having some standout moments throughout.

The Outlander Season 6 finale delivered some intense moments. From start to finish, Claire feared for her freedom and her life. She had Jamie by her side for some of the episode, but in the end, the only one in her corner with her was Tom Christie.

While it was a difficult episode, there were some excellent moments for Claire. Here are the three that stand out the most.

Shooting her attacker and not feeling bad

At the start of the episode, there was a standoff at the Big House. There was a lot going on here, and we did get some great Claire moments. The one that stands out the most is when she shot the guy who broke in.

Claire didn’t feel bad at all for shooting the guy in the gut. She would have known that he would die soon after with that wound, and she didn’t even care about it. In fact, when he did die, we didn’t really see her feel bad, showing just how far she’s come with being back in the 18th century compared to that time in the brothel in Edinburgh.

The look she gave Tom Christie when he agreed to Jamie’s wishes

Tom Christie ended up being a voice of reason for the fisherfolk in the Outlander Season 6 finale. As the fisherfolk cried out for Claire’s death fearing her a witch, Tom made it clear that Claire deserved a fair trial. Not only would he accompany Richard Brown and the Committee of Safety, but he also agreed to Jamie riding along with them.

Claire’s face said everything. She was shocked that Tom would be this voice of reason. She was also shocked that he would agree to Jamie traveling with her considering his dislike of Jamie. Claire didn’t have to say a word to get this emotion across.

Wondering about her hand

While riding through a village, Richard Brown’s men called out about Claire being a murderer and a witch. The villagers threw stones and attacked the cart Claire and Jamie were in. That led to Jamie having to shield Claire from being hurt.

However, before that happened, Claire punched a man getting into the cart. Afterward, Claire suffered from a bruised hand, wondering if it was broken. She’s the doctor, and she should know…well, maybe not without an X-ray.
