Jamie and Claire had to deal with fear and anger in the Outlander Season 6 finale. There were some standout moments throughout the episode.

There is no doubt that this wouldn’t have been a favorite episode for Claire and Jamie. The two saw their lives turned upside down with the arrival of Richard Brown at the Ridge. It only got worse from that point.

Meanwhile, Brianna and Roger headed out on their journey to Edenton. They had a much more pleasant journey, even if lice did show up. The lice did bring us one of the best moments of the entire episode, maybe of the entire season.

It’s time to look back over the episode at the best moments from the Outlander Season 6 finale.

5 best moments from the Outlander Season 6 finale

Claire and Jamie defending the house

When Richard Brown turns up, Claire and Jamie make it very clear that they’re not going anywhere. They will defend their home.

There is an excellent moment throughout the scenes. It’s when there’s the calm before the storm. They’re eating food and talking about what could be their last night together. They could die after this, and they run through all the times Jamie has almost died. He still has a few lives left.

The last night in their bed

When the fisherfolk turn up at the door, it looks like they’ll be the ones to burn down the house. However, Tom Christie manages to talk some sense into people. It seems like he doesn’t believe Claire is guilty, but there’s no way he can protect her from everything that’s to come. Instead, he just wants to make sure she gets to her trial safely and it’s a fair trial.

Once he shares that he will ride with the Committee of Safety and has no qualms about Jamie going too, Tom surprises us even more. He wants to ride in the morning. Claire and Jamie can have one more night in their bed together. That last night in their bed is emotional and raw.

The lice and the birthmark

Roger and Brianna have some excellent moments together in the Outlander Season 6 finale. Their final moments of the episode are the best, even if lice doesn’t seem that great.

Bree has no choice but to cut Jemmy’s hair. That’s when she spots the birthmark, which is something Roger isn’t worried about. He has one, and this type of mark is hereditary. Yes, hereditary. The look on Bree and Roger’s faces as they realized what this mean was everything.

Tom Christie offering Claire maintenance

The trip to Wilmington isn’t a good one. Tom Christie has a chance to see what Claire is up again, especially when she and Jamie are eventually split up. Tom knows that Jamie has a chance to look out for himself, but Claire will die if she doesn’t stick around.

When they get to the jail, Tom can’t do a lot to help Claire. However, he does hand her some money for her “maintenance.” He wants to make sure she’s as protected as possible, suggesting that he doesn’t think she’s Malva’s killer after all.

The Cherokee joining Young Ian to save Jamie

Jamie was taken to the beach, where he was going to be put on a ship to Scotland. It looked like he wouldn’t be able to get away until an arrow suddenly flies through the air.

Young Ian has come to save Jamie, and he’s not alone. All of Jamie’s work to build bonds with the local Cherokee pays off in this episode. Bird has arrived with help. He will fight alongside Bear Killer, and he will go to save Claire with Jamie.
