Claire had to go through all the emotions throughout Outlander Season 6, Episode 7. Here are her three best moments from the episode.

There was a lot going on in Outlander Season 6, Episode 7. It looked from the promo that it was going to be all about figuring out Malva’s murder, but there was another storyline from the book that came up. Lizzie and the Beardsley twins were ready to cause a scandal without really meaning to.

Claire has some excellent moments throughout the episode. Here are the three that stand out the most.

3 best Claire moments from Outlander Season 6, Episode 7

Wondering if she killed Malva

Claire refuses to allow Malva and the baby to be buried in the woods. While this is just Claire refusing to let a child be left in an unmarked grave, there could also be something deeper to it. Claire wasn’t even that sure if she hadn’t killed Malva.

When Roger talks about what Perry Mason would look into, Claire notes that she was the one with motive, means, and opportunity. Everyone can see it, and Claire admits to Jamie that there is a possibility that she did it and doesn’t really remember it. She remembers the ether dream she had, and wonders if she did kill Malva while she was threatening Malva in her dream.

We know that wasn’t the case, but it’s easy to understand why Claire would believe this. There was something that just didn’t sit right with her about the entire situation.

Her reaction to Lizzie’s confession

The episode isn’t just about Malva and her murder. Lizzie finally confesses that she’s pregnant and it is one of the Beardsley twins’ baby. She doesn’t know which one because she’s slept with both of them.

I just love Claire making sure that Lizzie wasn’t coerced into a relationship with both of them. Then I love her expressions as Lizzie goes into the details. It really was too much information from Lizzie, but it was the perfect way to bring in some humor to a heavy episode.

Not wanting to leave the baby behind

I know a lot of people would want the scene between Claire and Jamie as one of the best moments from Outlander Season 6, Episode 7. This is more of a Claire and Jamie moment, though.

When it comes to just Claire, it’s all about the way she refuses for the baby in his coffin to be left behind. There weren’t enough men to take Malva’s coffin and the baby’s coffin, and Claire doesn’t even stop to rush over and carry it out. This isn’t an action of guilt, but an action of sadness that this baby is left alone.
