Text for You movie changes title as it gets a release date
If you’ve been following the movies Sam Heughan has filmed, you know there’s one still to get a release date. It’s all about Text for You.
We love to follow what the Outlander cast is doing during their own Droughtlanders. Sam Heughan is continuously filming movies when his schedule allows, and we know he filmed a rom-com recently.
That rom-com was called Text for You. However, according to Deadline, the title has changed. It is now titled It’s All Coming Back to Me, and it has a release date.
Why is Text for You called something different?
What’s with the title change? This is hard to say as nobody has stated the full reason why. There are a couple of reasons why a movie could change its name.
The first is that the title is only different in certain locations. Just look at SAS: Red Notice. The title was changed to SAS: The Rise of the Black Swan when the movie came to Netflix U.S. This was likely due to similar titles for other productions coming to Netflix.
We can also look at how Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone turned to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone for the U.S. marks, and even how Outlander changed to Cross Stitch for the UK markets. These changes were due to how the titles would be viewed by the different countries. In the end, one tends to win over the other.
In this case, it could be that the title It’s All Coming Back to Me will be easier to remember or stand out more than the title Text for You. It could also be linked to the song choice. It’s a Celine Dion song “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now, that brings the couple together in the movie.
When is It’s All Coming Back to Me coming out?
The movie finally has a release date. It will be out in theaters on Friday, Feb. 10, 2023.
This is a rom-com, so the release date makes a lot of sense. Will we have Outlander Season 7 coming out around the same time? There is some hope, even if it is half the season.
