Is Men in Kilts Season 2 coming in 2022?

We’re in the middle of a one-week Droughtlander, and we’re reminded another Droughtlander is on its way. Will Men in Kilts Season 2 get us through it?

There’s no doubt that eyes are on the upcoming Droughtlander. The Outlander Season 6 finale airs in two weeks. That means fans will be looking for something to watch during the break.

There is some good news. Work has started on Men in Kilts Season 2. In fact, just recently, the editing on the first episode was completed. This is a great sign for the premiere of the season. We don’t have a release date yet, but is there a chance that the release date will be this year?

When is Men in Kilts Season 2 coming to STARZ?

We know that the season will head to STARZ. There is an excellent chance that it will arrive sometime in 2022.

We just have to look at the fact that editing of the first episode is complete. This will continue smoothly throughout the next few months. There doesn’t seem to be a hint that Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish need to head back to New Zealand to film anything else for the series, which is great since Outlander Season 7 filming is underway.

This does suggest that Men in Kilts Season 2 will premiere sometime in 2022. We could see it sometime in the late summer or early fall at the earliest. If the plan is still for Outlander Season 7 to arrive in early 2023 (it could be split into two halves) then the release of Men in Kilts could be a great way to split up Droughtlander a little.

There are only six episodes to the season rather than the eight that were in the first season. We’d love for more, but that could have had an impact on the filming of Season 7.
