With two episodes left of Outlander Season 6, things are about to get worse for Claire before they get better. Will Tom blame Claire for Malva’s death?

It was never easy living with the Christies nearby. However, Tom and Claire did manage to find some sort of civility between them. That seems to be gone completely based on the promo for Outlander Season 6, Episode 7.

Malva’s death is going to change everything. It’s clear that Malva was murdered, and Claire is the one there with blood all over her. Claire also has the unborn baby she tried but failed to save. There’s a lot of damning evidence surrounding her at the moment.

Tom could blame Claire in Outlander

There is a chance we’ll see Tom blame Claire. It will all seem to add up in his head, especially with the most recent reveals. Is it possible that Claire killed Malva out of anger and jealousy but then had a change of heart when it came to the baby?

Tom will be grieving. This is his daughter. Of course, Malva might not be his daughter, but even then, a part of him would have cared about her otherwise he would have abandoned her at some point in her life. Tom is also a man who believes in righteousness, so he’ll want justice for Malva’s murder.

In the promo for Outlander Season 6, Episode 7, we do see a horse pulling a wagon filled with men with rifles. It looks like this could be the Committee of Safety, which would connect back to a previous scene with Tom and Claire. Tom mentioned that Richard Brown offered the Committee of Safety, but Claire commented that Richard isn’t a good man. It’s clear she’s scared of him. Tom may call in Richard Brown to get justice for Malva only to realize the mess that he’s made as he does learn the full truth.
