Men in Kilts Season 2 is not coming to STARZ in April 2022

Men in Kilts Season 2 is happening, but it’s not happening just yet. It’s not on the list of April 2022 releases on STARZ.

We’re certainly ready to see Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish on more of their adventures. We have to wait for more from them on Men in Kilts, though.

The good news is Men in Kilts Season 2 is happening. The bad news is we won’t get to watch it in April 2022. The show isn’t on the list of arrivals this month, but we’re not too surprised by that news. Plus, it’s not like we don’t have something to watch this month!

Outlander Season 6 continues throughout April. The only weekend that it won’t be on is Easter Weekend, but I think we all expected that anyway.

Men in Kilts Season 2 release date predictions on STARZ

Let’s start with the good news that Men in Kilts Season 2 has finished filming. Heughan revealed that news earlier this year. It was certainly exciting news to find out.

That means the series is in post-production. It’s time to cut the trip around New Zealand into six episodes and get them ready to air. STARZ likes to make sure the editing work is completed on all episodes so there are no unexpected delays in airing the episodes weekly.

We’re looking at summer 2022 at the earliest for the series to arrive. This would help to split up Heughan’s work on STARZ, making Droughtlander a little easier to get through.

Maril Davis had initially said that Outlander Season 7 would premiere sometime in late 2022 or early 2023. With filming not even seemingly underway just yet, we can’t see how that is going to be possible, so pushing Men in Kilts Season 2 further into 2022 might be a little better for Droughtlander purposes.
