Outlander Season 6, Episode 5 images: Meet Flora MacDonald
The images for Outlander Season 6, Episode 5 are out, and they focus on a variety of storylines happening during the episode. One of those is the arrival of a Scottish heroine.
Even show-first fans may know a little about one of the characters turning up in Outlander Season 6, Episode 5. It’s going to be all about Flora MacDonald.
Flora is a woman from real history. She is the one who helped get Bonnie Prince Charlie out of Britain after the failed Jacobite rising. Flora dressed him up as a woman so he could escape to mainland Europe, and she was jailed for a short period of time.
Would she really be in the colonies, though? Oh yes! This is something mentioned in the books, but again, it’s also mentioned in real history. Flora did make it across for some time, so meeting Claire and Jamie is plausible.
Outlander Season 6, Episode 5 images
There are a few images that focus on Flora and the barbecue that will happen at River Run. Claire and Jamie are the only two heading there for this barbecue from the Ridge. We will get to see Lord John Grey and Jocasta, though. There are also images with Duncan Innes.
I love the images of Jocasta smoking a pipe. I can’t wait to see this scene, especially with the three women together without men around.

There are also images that focus on the tensions rising in Wilmington. Lord John Grey is going to be there, which is a small change from the books. It’s probably not going to take too much away, but I do wonder if this is going to lead to Jamie explaining that he is no longer for the king. Will he admit that he needs to change sides? Is it time for John to learn all about time travel?

Back at the Ridge, Roger realizes that Amy may have feelings for him. Brianna isn’t happy that he’s spending a lot of time alone with her, and there will be talk on the Ridge. We get to see a few images from that part of the story (and isn’t Jemmy so cute with the plane?), along with Roger working with the Christies to get the bell up to the church/meeting house.
