It’s all about Jamie’s return to the Ridge. It follows a night where two Cherokee women try to sleep with Jamie. He doesn’t want to cheat on Claire, but that doesn’t mean he’s not aroused. So, when he returns home, the first thing he needs is to be with his wife, and she doesn’t say no.

When husband and wife are separated, they should long for each other. We see a lot of the time in real life and in fiction that that’s not really the case. They can say they miss each other, but the actions never really match the words.
Well, that’s not the case for Claire and Jamie. In the books, we routinely see the two act on how much they’ve missed each other. That’s something the show has continued.
Jamie did remain faithful to Claire. It didn’t stop him from being aroused. However, it just made him miss and want Claire more. Even in their 50s, the two are ready to be with each other sexually. It gives a lot of hope for married couples who aren’t sure if intimacy will dry up or change in a bad way in the future. It doesn’t have to, and Claire and Jamie prove that.
