Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

We don’t get all that much in the way of foreshadowing here. This is more about bringing characters to a close for another part of the story. I guess the biggest foreshadowing is that Roger is going to continue down this path, but that’s more character development rather than foreshadowing.

I guess there’s a little foreshadowing in that Roger continues to care for Aidan and his family. We see this continue throughout A Breath of Snow and Ashes and beyond.

Adapting A Breath of Snow and Ashes chapter

I’m not all that sure we’ll see this chapter included in Outlander Season 6. Out of everything, we’ll potentially see the christening as this is part of Roger’s journey to become a minister. We may also see something between Roger and Bree as he explains the next steps. The parts aren’t going to take up a lot of time, though.

There’s no real need for this chapter except to explain the steps it takes to become a minister. This can be mentioned in passing or mixed with another scene, though. With the amount of content that needs to fit into Outlander Season 6, I wouldn’t complain about this chapter being skipped over.
