Men in Kilts Season 2 is not coming to STARZ in March 2022

We’re very excited to see Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish take us on a journey around New Zealand in Men in Kilts Season 2.

There are a few shows we’re excited to see arrive at some point in 2022. Men in Kilts Season 2 is certainly one of them, but there is a little bit of bad news. We’re not going to get to see it in March 2022.

To be honest, we weren’t ever expecting it to arrive next month. March 2022 is all about Outlander Season 6. The network wasn’t going to release the other of Sam Heughan’s shows at the same time.

Men in Kilts Season 2 release date predictions

We don’t have a release date for the season just yet. However, we can make a few predictions for it. One thing we know is we’re unlikely to see it while Outlander airs. STARZ knows that Outlander fans are likely to watch Men in Kilts so the premium cable network is going to want to keep the shows airing at different times of the year to ensure subscribers.

Something we also know is that filming of Men in Kilts Season 2 is complete. Sam Heughan shared that update just recently, so the series will now be in the post-production stage.

This is going to take a few months to get through. We’re looking at May 2022 as a release date at the earliest, but that may still be a little too close to the ending of Outlander Season 6. To ensure some good Men in Kilts promotion, we’ll likely get some sort of trailer and release date timed with the Outlander Season 6 finale.

That would then suggest a June or July premiere date for Men in Kilts Season 2. We can hope, right? At least there are a lot of signs that we’re getting the season sometime this year.
