Foreshadowing in the Outlander chapter

The foreshadowing in this chapter isn’t to do with the potential pregnancy. It turns out Claire isn’t. Considering everything she faced, of course her body was going to be out of whack right now.

This chapter’s foreshadowing is in Mrs. Bug’s words. She doesn’t think hanging is good enough for Lionel Brown. We know that Jamie doesn’t even get a chance to hang him. Mrs. Bug takes care of that situation for everyone.

Adapting A Breath of Snow and Ashes chapter

The chapter hasn’t been used in the series. I don’t think it will be.

Mrs. Bug isn’t as big of a character in the series as she is in the books. There’s a chance she’ll become more important in the sixth season, but there’s no need for this chapter at this point. Lionel Brown is already dead, killed by Marsali.

There’s also no real need for the pregnancy fear storyline. We can skip over all this and get onto the bigger storylines in A Breath of Snow and Ashes. There’s so much to cover and just not enough time, so this part isn’t necessary for me.
