The Outlander books are certainly no small feat. While the first book is only around the 600-page mark (640 in the hardback to be exact), the rest of the books grow. The longest book to date has been A Breath of Snow and Ashes, which has 1,157 pages!
Of course, all fans of the book series will want an idea of length before they jump in. They want to know how long they will be immersed into the new story.
Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone is now available to buy in hardback, in eBook form, and on Audible. Before you get into it, though, just how many pages will you read?
How long is Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone?
Amazon, Indigo, and other retailers say that the book is 928 pages. This is a lower page count than A Breath of Snow and Ashes, but it is longer than many of the other books.
I have the Audible version. The book is just shy of 40 hours, so it is possible to finish it in two days. You’ll need to read/listen to it the whole time, though. To be honest, I’ve done it before, but that was when I was in university and would put off studying for reading. Oops!
It will eventually be available in paperback form. These books can end up with more pages purely due to how the content is printed. Paperback books tend to be on the smaller side, so the pages are smaller. Instead of making the writing absolutely tiny, more pages are used.
Of course, there will also be the large print book eventually. That too will have more pages.
