Outlander Book Club: A Breath of Snow and Ashes start date

We’ll be starting A Breath of Snow and Ashes in our Outlander Book Club soon. Here are all the details you need about the start date and more.

We’ve wrapped up The Fiery Cross, and it’s almost time to move onto the next Outlander book. As we mentioned, we’re going to move to A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

There are going to be a lot of you reading Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, but there are others still working their way through the other books. Maybe you haven’t read the books yet and are reading for the first time with us. Or maybe you’re waiting a little longer for Bees as a Christmas or birthday gift.

Whatever the reason, most people voted to continue in order with this book club, and that’s what we’ll be doing. I just had to figure out the start date.

When will our A Breath of Snow and Ashes read-through begin?

Get Wednesday, Dec. 1 in your diary.

I’ve picked this date as it gets us past Thanksgiving. Midweek is a good place to start with some people potentially traveling on the Monday.

We will take a break for Christmas and New Year, though. I don’t know about you, but I have a few plans that are going to take up some time. We’ll take a two-week (ish) break from Wednesday, Dec. 22 and start back up on Monday, Jan. 3.

If you think we should take a bit longer, let me know. However, I know there are going to be a lot of people eager to get back into the book. After all, we’ve now found out that Outlander Season 6 will premiere on Sunday, March 6 on STARZ. There’s no doubt you’ll want to get through as much of the book as possible before that.

A Breath of Snow and Ashes read-through will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 1 only at Claire and Jamie.
