Which episode of The Wheel of Time does Maria Doyle Kennedy appear in?

We were certainly excited to hear that Maria Doyle Kennedy was cast in Amazon’s The Wheel of Time. The first three episodes are out, but is she in any of them?

The first three episodes of The Wheel of Time are now on Amazon Prime Video. This is certainly taking liberties with the book storyline, but it’s still a great fantasy series to get through Droughtlander. There’s a lot going on, and it’s going to be something you’ll want to watch a couple of times to take it all in.

We found out early on that Outlander‘s Maria Doyle Kennedy was going to be involved in the series. Now we know when she turns up and how she connects to our main characters.

You’ll need to wait until the third episode of The Wheel of Time Season 1. She plays Illa, a tinker who Egwene and Perrin come across after they’ve split up from the rest of the group of travelers.

We don’t get to know that much about Illa or her group of people in the episode, though. Episode 3 is focused mostly on Rand and Mat, who come across a few people they’re not sure if they can trust or not. It’s clear throughout this series that not everyone can be trusted. They’re all looking for one particular person known as the Dragon.

Can Illa be trusted? That’s something we’ll need to find out as The Wheel of Time continues. We’ve only just got to meet her at this point in the series. We’re sure to get to know her more as the episodes continue.

Just remember that Kennedy isn’t a series regular on the series. At least, not yet. Anything could happen to the character with the way the show has adapted the Robert Jordan books.
