Outlander Season 6 is not coming to STARZ in October 2021

We’re still waiting for Droughtlander to come to an end, but the wait continues. Outlander Season 6 is not on the list of STARZ releases next month.

If we’re honest, we didn’t expect the series to be on the list of October releases. Back in June, we got the confirmation that Outlander Season 6 would arrive in early 2022. Of course, that doesn’t stop us hoping for some sort of change that would lead to a great surprise.

There is something Outlander coming in October, though. There will be a panel for the series at NYCC 2021. That takes place on Saturday, Oct. 9, and we’re sure to get some teases for the new season. We’re hoping for an exact premiere date and a trailer for the season.

Then there is Wizard World Chicago the weekend after. Sam Heughan is going to be there, which offers another chance to get some teases for the season.

Outlander Season 6 premiere date on STARZ

When can we expect Outlander Season 6 to premiere? While STARZ and the series have officially said “early 2022,” Sam Heughan seemed to let the month leak. It looks like it’s going to be February 2022, which would certainly make a lot of sense.

It could be around Valentine’s Day weekend. This would match the Season 5 premiere date and work well for a show that is about this love that stands the test of time travel.

The show will get a weekly release. That’s the way for all STARZ shows. Remember that STARZ is a premium cable network, which means it still follows the traditional weekly releases for its channel. You’ll be able to binge-watch the season at the end of the eight (yes, only eight!) episodes.
