Could we get the Outlander Season 6 premiere at NYCC 2021?

Outlander is getting a panel at NYCC 2021. This is a chance to learn a little of what’s to come but will it involve the Outlander Season 6 premiere episode?

We know that a panel is happening. Like the previous two NYCCs, it’s going to happen on the Saturday night of the weekend event. We don’t have a time or a location for the panel just yet, but that’s not all too surprising. The event isn’t until October!

Of course, all eyes are on what could happen at the panel. What should we expect? Is it possible that we’ll get a sneak peek of the premiere?

It has happened before. During NYCC 2018, fans got a chance to watch the Outlander Season 4 premiere. However, during NYCC 2019, it was just a trailer released for the season rather than an exclusive look at the premiere episode.

Could Outlander Season 6 premiere at NYCC 2021?

It is possible that a premiere could happen at NYCC 2021. We know that filming is complete, and the post-production work could be completed in time for October.

This would allow the premiere to air at the event. It would give con-goers an exclusive introduction to the season.

However, when Season 4 premiered at NYCC, fans only had to wait a month for it to then come to STARZ. There wasn’t that long to hold spoilers. Season 6 isn’t expected until (possibly) February 2022. The idea of getting fans at the event to hold spoilers that long is a bit much. We all know fans love to share what they’ve seen!

It’s possible that the panel will release a promo for the season instead. Then there will be a panel after to discuss what to expect on Outlander Season 6.

Once we see how long the panel is going to be, we’ll have a better idea. If it’s only an hour long, a promo is most likely. It would need to be two hours long for the premiere to air considering it’s going to be 90 minutes long.
