Outlander will be at NYCC 2021: What can we expect?
Outlander has been at New York Comic-Con for a few years now. Did we really think that wouldn’t happen this year? Here’s what we know so far.
The good news is that Outlander will be at NYCC 2021. The convention will take place during the first weekend of October, with tickets on sale from July 11. If you already have a fan verification account, you’ll need to make sure everything is up to date for it now.
The show’s social media accounts confirmed the good news about the series coming to the convention once more. This will be the third NYCC the show will be at, and like those two years, the panel will take place on Saturday, Oct. 9. It will likely be at Madison Square Gardens again, but that hasn’t been confirmed just yet.
Now all eyes are on what to expect during the panel. Getting an idea of the time frame for the panel would be helpful, but we don’t have that just yet. We’re speculating what we can expect.

An Outlander Season 6 promo at NYCC 2021?
We can work with what happened at NYCC 2019 for an idea of what to expect. After all, the release date of Season 6 is likely to be around the same time as Season 5’s release.
At NYCC 2019, fans got an exclusive look at the promo for Outlander Season 5. We could expect the same thing for NYCC 2021, getting a promo for Season 6.
There were also questions about the season, and we can definitely expect the same there.
A screening of the first episode?
What about the Season 6 premiere airing at the panel? That’s something we’ve seen in the past. During NYCC 2018, fans got the chance to watch the Season 4 premiere, before moving into questions about the upcoming season.
It’s not clear who will be at the panel, but again, we can take some guesses. We’d likely see Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, Richard Rankin, and Sophie Skelton. There’s also a good chance that Matt B. Roberts and Diana Gabaldon will be there, as they’re two important people behind the show and books.
