Is SAS: Rise of the Black Swan 2 happening?

SAS: Rise of the Black Swan is now available to stream on Netflix. Is there a chance that SAS: Rise of the Black Swan 2 could happen?

If you’ve seen SAS: Red Notice, you’ve seen SAS: Rise of the Black Swan. The two movies are the same, just with a different name. It happens regularly, but it’s understandable if you were initially confused.

Something you’ll want to know is whether there’s more coming to the story. Will there be a sequel? You may have even had the question after SAS: Red Notice arrived back in March 2021.

SAS: Rise of the Black Swan brought us Andy McNab’s Red Notice story to the screen. Is there more to that story, though?

SAS: Rise of the Black Swan 2 isn’t happening yet

Right now, there are no plans to continue the story. Shortly after the release of SAS: Red Notice, Digital Spy reported that a sequel wasn’t yet in the works but that doesn’t mean there won’t be. Sam Heughan even talked about how he could see the movie continuing into a franchise.

There is certainly more to Tom Buckingham’s story. He’s only just figuring out who he is.

There is more to the story in terms of books. Red Notice was just the start of the story, with McNab continuing the story with Fortress and State of Emergency. There are reportedly more books in the Buckingham story to come.

If there is enough interest in the movie, whether under the Red Notice and the Black Swan titles, there is a chance that the studio will want to do more movies. So, if you want to see Heughan continue his chance at leading his own movie franchise as well as doing the Outlander series, you’ll want to watch the movie on Netflix. Then there’s a chance SAS: Rise of the Black Swan 2 will happen.
