Will Malva Christie be in Outlander Season 7?

We know the Christies will be part of Outlander Season 6. What we don’t know is just how much of the storyline from A Breath of Snow and Ashes will be used in the sixth season. Will the entire Christie storyline play out over the course of the season?
It is highly likely that it will. The season is just eight episodes long after episode counts for Season 6 and Season 7 have been updated due to the pandemic. Eight episodes would be enough to tell the full Christie storyline.

Malva Christie probably won’t be in Outlander Season 7
Reynolds posted on Instagram when Season 6 filming wrapped to say goodbye. This didn’t sound like just a temporary goodbye. It sounded like a permanent goodbye to the character, which suggests that she isn’t going to be in Outlander Season 7.

Those who have read the books know that Malva meets a fatal end. Will this end be met during Outlander Season 6? This is highly likely, especially with the way TV shows need to work.
We just have to look at how Stephen Bonnet’s storyline from the sixth book was pulled forward to the fifth season. This was partly due to the way TV shows work with the risk of losing guest stars and to keep storylines contained to one or two seasons.
Even if the Christie storyline didn’t end in the sixth book, it would still probably end in the sixth season. It makes sense to keep everything contained, so we’ll probably not see Malva in Outlander Season 7.
