Outlander’s Alexander Vlahos lands role in Sanditon

It’s time for all Outlander fans to catch up on Sanditon. Alexander Vlahos has landed a role on the uncanceled series. Who will he play?

We haven’t had a chance to see Vlahos on Outlander Season 6 yet, but he’s already part of the family. He’ll play Allen Christie on the series, and we can’t wait to see the job he’ll do. There’s no doubt he’ll knock it out of the park, just like he’s done with his other roles.

And now he’s part of the family, we’re keeping an eye on everything else he’s doing. We know he’s directing a movie that involves his Outlander father, but what about acting wise?

Sanditon, a show that was canceled and has now been uncanceled, made some casting announcements for Season 2. Who happens to be on the list? Vlahos, of course!

Who will Alexander Vlahos play on Sanditon Season 2?

Sanditon was initially canceled after the first season. The ratings just weren’t enough for UK networks to keep it going and PBS couldn’t continue with it alone. Fortunately, BritBox stepped in to save the day. It took some time, but at least it’s happened.

Vlahos will play Charles Lockhart. As the show is now ahead of the book that it is based on, we need to get to know the new characters on the series a little.

Charles Lockhart is described as a “mad hedonistic character.” He is certainly going to shake up Sanditon, but we don’t get to know just how connected he’ll be to our unlucky-in-love heroine Charlotte Haywood.

We don’t have many details about Sanditon Season 2’s release date. There has been some speculation Vlahos was joining the series just a few days ago when he shared he was filming in Bristol, so it looks like filming is still ongoing. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on the new season.
