Outlander’s César Domboy lands role in SAS: Rogue Heroes
More and more Outlander actors are starting to get other projects under their belt. César Domboy is the latest, with SAS: Rogue Heroes.
Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe aren’t the only Outlander actors with other (some potential) projects. Richard Rankin and Lauren Lyle have recently landed other projects, and now there’s some great news for French actor César Domboy.
Domboy, who plays Fergus Fraser on Outlander, has landed a role on SAS: Rogue Heroes, according to Deadline. It’s a supporting role in the series, one that is already filming. The timing is perfect with Outlander Season 6 recently wrapped filming and Season 7 not set to film until next year.
Again, there is certainly nothing to worry about when it comes to the stars and their other projects.
What to expect from César Domboy on SAS: Rogue Heroes
SAS: Rogue Heroes will follow the creation of the British Special Forces unit. It’s something that isn’t looked into all that much, but the unit was formed during World War II’s darkest days.
The six-episode series will follow Stirling, an eccentric young officer who is hospitalized after a training exercise goes wrong. He’s sure that the traditional commando units won’t work, so puts together a plan for a new type of unit. He wants to create an undercover unit that will create mayhem behind the enemy lines.
It’s not clear who Domboy will play in the series just yet. However, he is joining a standout case that includes Connor Swindells, Alfie Allen, and Dominic West.
We’ll keep an eye on the new series, which is still currently filming. As soon as we have a premiere date, we’ll let you know!
