A Discovery of Witches Season 2 DVD release date set for August 2021

A Discovery of Witches is a popular show for Outlander fans during Droughtlander. It won’t be long until A Discovery of Witches Season 2 is on DVD.

If you haven’t watched A Discovery of Witches just yet, you’ll want to get on it. The second season introduces Steven Cree as Gallowglass, and he’s the perfect addition to the series. He really does bring that character from the books to life, and he’ll be part of the third and final season of the series.

There are many other reasons to tune into the show, though. This is one of those book adaptations that brings the characters to life, adapts some of the side characters well, and makes us fall in love with the vampire/witch genre all over again.

You can currently watch the first two seasons in full on Shudder and Sundance Now. A Discovery of Witches Season 2 will get a linear airing on AMC starting from June 27 at 8/7c. However, it won’t be long until you can add A Discovery of Witches Season 2 on DVD and Blu-ray.

When is A Discovery of Witches Season 2 on DVD and Blu-ray?

The series will head to DVD and Blu-ray in the United States on Tuesday, Aug. 17. You can currently get the season via the UK, but it won’t necessarily play on your DVD player. You’ll need one that plays Region 2 DVDs.

The second season isn’t available to pre-order just yet. Keep an eye on the Amazon listings, because pre-orderig is worth it. You can get your order in, but you’ll pay the lowest amount up to the release date regardless of the price you agree on when pre-ordering.

It will be available on Digital around the same time. The first season is available to buy on Digital, but right now, you can only watch Season 2 via Sundance Now or Shudder. You’ll eventually be able to buy the episodes with one purchase and add them to your Amazon Library.

A Discovery of Witches Season 2 will air on AMC on Sundays starting from June 27.
