Tobias Menzies joins the cast of Modern Love Season 2

There are many great shows to check out during Droughtlander. Amazon has a few of them, with Modern Love being one of them.
The anthology series touches on all types of love. This is more than just the romantic feelings for a partner, but about friendship, families, and much more. It’s been a long wait for the second season, but Deadline reports that it’s coming to Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Aug. 13.
The great news is that we get to know more about the cast joining the series. One of those is an Outlander actor.
Modern Love Season 2 includes Tobias Menzies
It may be hard to envision him as a good character considering the memories of Black Jack Randall, but Tobias Menzies is starring in one of the Modern Love episodes. He’ll appear opposite the exceptionally talented Sophie Okonedo. To be honest, both of these two actors in the same episode is going to be epic.
The episode is directed by John Carney, and this episode specifically was filmed in Dublin, Ireland.
Yes, it’s only one episode. Modern Love is an anthology series. Each episode focuses on a different story and a different set of characters. It allows for some big names to be a part of the show without a huge commitment, which is certainly appealing to some.
Menzies and Okonedo aren’t the only outstanding talents in episodes. We’ll see the likes of Minnie Driver, Anna Paquin, Kit Harington, and Jeena Yi. The Deadline article includes the full list of the cast for the second season.
No details of Menzies’s episode have been released just yet. We didn’t get details of the first season episodes either. There is a lot being kept as a surprise, and it’s a great way to draw fans back in.
