The Nevers Season 1 is taking a break on HBO. When will we get to see The Nevers Season 1, Episode 7? What can we expect when the show returns?
We finally got answers about Amalia True’s identity on The Nevers Season 1, Episode 6. However, the episode also left us with plenty of questions. Questions that we’re having to wait to get answers for.
The series is on a break. There wasn’t a new episode on Sunday, May 23. Don’t worry if you thought you missed something.
Due to COVID-19 and Joss Whedon stepping down as showrunner, things had to change for the release of The Nevers. HBO did something that it doesn’t usually do: split the first season into two parts. There are 12 episodes in total and six have aired so far. We now wait for the other six episodes.
When will The Nevers Season 1, Episode 7 air?
HBO hasn’t set a return date for The Nevers just yet. That’s not surprising since filming is still ongoing.
Could the show return in 2021? Considering there are six episodes, it is certainly possible to get through them and post-production in time. However, there’s no guarantee of that just yet. It could be 2022 due to other programming HBO will want to release throughout the year.
The return date is something we’re keeping an eye on, and we will share it as soon as we know.
Is The Nevers Season 2 happening?
Many also want to know if there’s going to be a second season. It’s important to note that the first season hasn’t finished just yet. Episode 6 was not the season finale. It was just the midseason finale. There are still six episodes of Season 1 left.
With that in mind, HBO may hold off on renewing the show right now. The premium cable network may want to see how things turn out in terms of views when the show returns considering the change of showrunner, and potentially, a change in some of the direction of the series.
Again, we’re keeping an eye on the decision and will share once we know.
The Nevers is available to stream on HBO.
