During the previous episode, The Touched lost one of their own. Just as Mary found her voice to since her song of hope, she was gunned down. We know it was under Maladie’s orders, but it looks like Amalia and the others don’t quite know that yet. Or if they do, they just don’t know where Maladie is to take her down.
Mundi is most definitely on a mission for revenge. He loved Mary, and while they didn’t make it down the altar together, they still cared for each other. There’s no doubt that he wants to take down the people responsible for his murder.
And so does Amalia. She has a mission that she didn’t even get given, and she doesn’t really know what she’s doing it seems. We’re still curious about what the secret is she has. Why is she more Touched than the others?
Will Amalia learn the truth about Lavinia on The Nevers Season 1, Episode 4?
The synopsis for the episode tells us that Amalia will expose an “unexpected threat.” Does this mean that Amalia will learn the truth about Lavinia?
Right now, it looks like Amalia has no idea that Lavinia is also funding the experiments on the Touched. She looks like she supports them from the outside, but they’re just a charity case for her. This secret has to eventually come out, but is that going to be four episodes in?
There are a few things that have changed to allow for this to happen. Mary’s song did reach many of the Touched in London, which could expose some of the things that Lavinia is supporting. Bonfire Annie has also joined the Orphanage, which could also help to expose secrets.
