Travel through the Scottish Highlands in a luxury train while supporting a charity

If you’ve been dreaming of getting out of your cramped living room for a little while, or just want to pretend like you’re heading off to Hogwarts for a spell, Omaze is sponsoring a sweepstakes that can make these daydreams a reality. That’s because the winner will snag a four-night expedition traveling through the Scottish Highlands on the Belmond Royal Scotsman train—all while supporting a charity.

The winner will be flown to Edinburgh and stay in the five-star Balmoral Hotel for a night, where the last book in the Harry Potter series was written. Then they’ll board the Royal Scotsman train to start their journey. On the train, they’ll get to experience spa treatments, formal dining, traditional Scottish cèilidh dancing, and plenty of other amenities. Upon disembarking, they’ll also get to take a tour of Ballindalloch Castle, adventure through Cairngorms National Park, and enjoy a seal-watching boat ride.

No donations are required for a single entry, but if you make a contribution, you’ll have a better chance of winning. Donating $10 will give you 100 entries, $25 gets you 250, $50 gets you 1000, and $100 gets you 2000.

Every donation supports Black Girl Ventures through CAF America. Black Girl Ventures helps “provide Black/Brown woman-identifying founders with access to community, capital, and capacity building in order to meet business milestones that lead to economic advancement through entrepreneurship.” Through their Change Agent Program, which currently has chapters across the Mid-Atlantic and Southern states, Black Girl Ventures hopes to create a new chapter in Los Angeles and support their Houston one.
