We’ll start with a bit of bad news. The season isn’t going to come straight to Netflix.
Outlander is a STARZ Original. That means, it’s going to head to STARZ first. And then, it’s going to be exclusive on STARZ for some time after that.
However, there is a chance that eventually the season will head to Netflix. Right now, Seasons 1 to 4 are available on Netflix in the United States, with the fourth only just recently arriving. Our recent predictions are that Outlander Season 5 will join Netflix in May 2022, as it looks like the Netflix release is two years after the season finale date.
When could Outlander Season 7 come to Netflix?
If you’re waiting for the show to be on Netflix, there is going to be a long wait. And there’s no guarantee that it’s going to happen. The contract between STARZ and Netflix could come to an any before there are events talks of the seventh season. CEO Jeremy Hirsch wasn’t all that happy about it, despite it undoubtedly landing more eyeballs on the series.
There isn’t a premiere date for Outlander Season 7, which isn’t all that surprising. Season 6 has only just started filming and we’re looking at early 2022 as a rough guess for that season right now. We’re not expecting Season 7 until sometime in 2023 at the earliest.
Assuming the season finale airs before the end of 2023, we’re then looking at 2025 for the season to make it to Netflix! See, you’re waiting a long time.
