Outlander Season 1: Lallybroch

The final two episodes come from the very first season. For those who adore Claire and Jamie and only want their story, you’ll want to go back to the beginning for this. And start with “Lallybroch.”

This episode is the first time we get rid of that feeling of Frank being there. Claire has made the decision to stay in the past for Jamie. She is finally allowing herself her feelings for him, acknowledging that they are stronger for him than for Jamie.

And with that comes meeting the family. Jamie takes his wife back to his home, where there is the initial prickliness with Jenny. That settles down, and there’s a chance of hope for this small (but growing) family.

This is also the episode when Jamie tells Claire just how long he’s loved her. It’s always been Claire from the very beginning of the series.

Outlander Season 1: The Wedding

Finally, there is only one episode to end with for Valentine’s Day. It’s all about the wedding day.

It is a shame that Claire is drunk for the entire wedding, but there are some excellent moments when they’re in the bedroom together. Both are nervous, and they have some excellent ways to help calm those nerves before officially consummating the marriage.

Jamie also shows how he’s not like the other men. He wants Claire to enjoy their time together, and he is willing to learn how to please her in the bedroom. Claire isn’t straying from his bed any time soon.
