Men in Kilts won’t be on Amazon Prime Video right away

Let’s start with the bad news. You won’t be able to watch the Heughan and McTavish docuseries right away on Amazon Prime Video. At least, not in the United States.

You’ll need to have STARZ, which you can get as an Amazon Channels add-on. This is a great way to keep everything in one place and only worry about one bill each month.

But what about after all eight episodes have aired? There are good chances that the series will head to Digital a few months later, similarly to Outlander. You won’t be able to watch for free with Prime, but you will be able to order all eight episodes on Amazon Video and add them to your library. There’s no need for a new subscription once you have the episodes like that.

You’ll also likely be able to own the series on DVD and Blu-ray in the future. This will be a great addition to your book, Clanlands. Look out for bonus features on the DVD boxsets.

Will Men in Kilts ever come to Amazon Prime Video for free in the United States? Never say never, but it is unlikely. However, STARZ may do a one-month offer sometime in the future, similar to how it’s done Vida in the past.
