Outlander Season 4 will be on Netflix U.S. next month
One thing we’ve all been waiting for is the release of Outlander Season 4 on Netflix. Sure, you could watch it on STARZ, but some people can’t afford the extra streaming services. Nor does everyone want multiple streaming services.
Netflix has been the way for many people to find out all about the time-traveling series. But we’ve only had three seasons since Dec. 10, 2019. Well, the wait is almost over for Outlander Season 4 on Netflix U.S.
Outlander Season 4 will be available to stream on Netflix in the United States on Jan. 27, 2021.
This is exactly two years since the finale aired on STARZ. It also matches the release for Season 3, which came out exactly two years after the finale. There may be a pattern here to work out when Outlander Season 5 will come to Netflix.
Note that this is only the pattern for Netflix U.S. Other locations have a different pattern they’re following based on licensing agreements. Netflix Canada is getting Outlander Season 5 in January 2021.
What is Outlander Season 4 about?
For those who haven’t caught up on the season yet, waiting for it to come to Netflix, we won’t give away spoilers in this post
The season sees Claire and Jamie making a new life in the colonies. They need to figure out where to start, which involves heading to a plantation owned by Jamie’s Aunt Jocasta. Will this be their new home or will they start a new life elsewhere?
Meanwhile, we catch up with Brianna and Roger in the 20th century. It’s the early 1970s there, but are they still together, and do they want the same things?
There’s also a particular pirate to deal with. You’ll get to know Stephen Bonnet, brilliantly played by Ed Speleers.
The story follows Drums of Autumn. There are some big changes, with some being better than others.
